Alright, heres an update for the past month or so.
While at Zeeks, I have removed spyware and malware from several computers using Spybot S&D, and AdAware 2007, some of which put up a fight before being completely removed via RegEdit.
I have also shadowed and viewed how to manage cables building a new PC.
Helped manage the LAN center, setting up players on PCs using Cyber Cafe Pro.
General troubleshooting of laptop and desktop problems.
Called EVGA concerning an RMA for a video card, tested an ATi card that the owner said was giving them artifacts while playing WoW. It was overheating because the fan is not working properly.
Watched how to replace the laptop power connector using a small grinding tool and solder.
Checked a users PC which is heavily infected. It has already been scanned by Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware 2007, and well as Norton and is still having issues. Possible it might need to be wiped clean and restart after saving his data.

Accepted
I've got a "job" or an internship position rather. He wants his website completely renovated and in return , he will share his knowledge and allow me to work under him. All his tools and assets will be open for me to use and I'll be able to gain real world experience in the IT field.

CIOS 210
Yesterday
Start of my final project for my IT courses. I've applied in person to Krazee Zeeks Computer Gaming Center on Airport Way. It is a computer support and repair shop as well as a lan/gaming center and is moving into keeping an inventory of computer hardware. I asked the owner if he had any positions available to which he replied he had a full part-time staff. I then offered to volunteer my work (this is fine with me since it is extremely close to where I live and I'd be happy with some experience, especially if it gets me a good future reference) and explained that I need to do a final project to graduate and get some real world work experience. He asked me for my name, number and a list of things I'd be interested in doing and he told me he would give me a call after he has thought about what I could do that would be beneficial to me.
No call as of 6pm today. I'll be calling tomorrow around 3-4pm to see if theres been any headway.

CIOS 258 Final
Alright, here the final pictures I took for my Digital Photography course.
This was the first time I had actually walked around the downtown area on 1st street.
The orignal was pretty dull looking and the sky was too bright. I used auto color and auto contrast, and it made the statue turn out well, but I had to select the sky with the magic wand and manually adjust the brightness and contrast.
This is another first time. Shooting in the dark. I have done it before, but away from other light sources and while pointing at the aurora. It was originally very dark, but I brought out the brightness by changing the contrast and brightness settings, and used auto color. It still didnt look quite right, so I had to change the blues manually with color balance. I also used sharpen on the vehicle. It was more of a spur of the moment shot rather than something I had planned.
Another night shot, I used flash in this photo to help with the color of the tree. I thought it would be nice to get some spring photos of some buds. I used auto color and used the magic wand to select everything but the tree and the visible branches and turned up the brightness by about 5 and the contrast by 11, I was a bit shocked to see that there were actually branches visible in the background.
And another photo from downtown, the old green building on 5th Street where people used to go pay their water bills. Brings back memories. I still remember walking in to hand the tellers an envelope at boths that were about a foot higher than myself when I was 7. Now it is closed, and the phones have been removed. Maybe the clocks still work?

I took about 5 pictures before they woke up and started play fighting. I used auto contrast, auto color, and changed the brightness setting manually by bringing down the brightness and increasing the contrast to better bring out the shadows and play with the light.
I took this picture of my Weber grill because I thought it looked like a bird. And not a pretty one at that! Changing the color wasnt really necesarry, but I turned up the brightness just a bit.

Maybe the clocks still work? This is actually a compilation of four photos put together in sphotoshop and a wee bit of cropping. I had some troubles with auto color and levels, so I had to use the clone stamp to remove some funny colors.

Dreamweaver
The only thing I dislike about Dreamweaver is that when I click on say the body after I have been editing h2, and choose edit, it will still edit h2 instead of the body.
The thing I like about it is that once you start using the controls, it begins to become easier.

First Post!
Wow, first post here, aren't I special now. Got my very own blogspace. . . yup.
I am 20, I have lived in Alaska all my life. I enjoy games and I work at Fred Meyer.
Uh... I guess I'll sign off now or whatever people do when they leave their blog for a bit.
Bye.
